Vin Diesel shares a photo of himself with a thick beard as a throwback lớn The Last Witch Hunter. Released in 2015, The Last Witch Hunter saw Diesel take on the role of Kaulder, the only being standing between humanity and the dark powers of history"s most terrifying witches. While Diesel doesn"t explicitly say anything about The Last Witch Hunter 2 in the post, the caption could certainly be hinting that work is still ongoing on the sequel. Fast X filming is currently underway and Fast & Furious 11 also has yet khổng lồ be filmed, but it"s possible that, in his off-time, Diesel is still pushing forward with The Last Witch Hunter 2. It"s still far too early for any official plot or cast information about the sequel, but it"s fair khổng lồ assume that, if a sequel does happen, Diesel will return as Kaulder.

While chatting with Diesel for his March 13th release Bloodshot, I asked him how he forges forward when a passion project doesn’t pan out as hoped. Using The Last Witch Hunter as an example, Diesel explained:
“When a Last Witch Hunter comes out and it doesn’t destroy the box office you, under the old thinking, would go, ‘Well, maybe I should focus on something else.’ But nowadays what’s fascinating is that movies find you somehow.”
From the distributor perspective, big budget movies finding an audience kind of has to lớn happen during the theatrical rollout khổng lồ justify the expense. But Diesel does make a good point when you consider how accessible movies become thanks lớn streaming and VOD platforms after their big screen runs.
